tired but happy

i'm back!
sooo, a week, 3 papers, and 2 projects later, I'm back!!! I have another project due Friday, but it is about blogging - it doesn't get much funner than that.

I finished my last paper (which was due yesterday, time unspecified) at 12:04 am. so it was technically 5 minutes late, but what can you do. then i got in bed and could not fall asleep at all. i don't know why, i was so tired and hadn't drank any coke for about four hours. I wonder if it's because suddenly I started to think about all the things that I've been putting on hold for the past two weeks (or more) like keeping in touch with friends (seeing mary anne's baby!), thinking about summer internships, thinking about leaving boston and all my peeps (eek!), thinking about moving to a new scary southern town where i can't hold hands with my gf in public, thinking about selling my car and buying a new one, thinking about softball on wednesday, all that crazy stuff. yikes, no wonder i couldn't sleep last night. Or maybe I was just excited and feeling funny because I am essentially done with this Master's degree, which is certainly a feeling that I have never had before. It felt too anticlimactic to climb into bed at 12:19 after uploading my last paper.

Today I am tired because I slept so badly and I have to work extra hours because I am covering for a girl who broke her jaw and lost teeth in a bicycle accident. doh.

Tomorrow I have a softball game and then m and peaches and i are going to see star wars at midnight - i think my geek score needs to be adjusted now. thursday i am seriously considering hitting midway, even though i have mad shit to do on friday. we'll see. saturday is the bbq, which you are all invited to even if i haven't formally invited you because i have been self-absorbed and crazy lately.
